Growing up around a film set
Before she played Anueng, Yoko knew the rhythms of a set through her older sister, actress and singer Neko Lertprasert. Their careers now offer two different ways into Thai GL, through Blank for Yoko and Roller Coaster for Neko.
Playing Anueng
Yoko shares Blank with Faye Peraya. Anueng’s habit of teasing Khun Nueng does much of the early work of the romance. As the story unfolds, the same character has to ask plainly what kind of future they can have.
