Thailand Flood Update: Help Links and GL Event Guidance

AsianGL · Community Update

Published September 29, 2026, Thailand time. Situation information below is based on reports dated September 28.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the flooding in Thailand. To the families, fans, artists, crews, and volunteers navigating this difficult time: your safety comes first.

What is happening

Reuters reported on September 28 that flooding since September 16 had affected 41 provinces and more than 580,000 homes. Nearly 6,000 people had moved into Bangkok evacuation centres, and authorities ordered evacuations in Rayong after two reservoirs exceeded capacity.

The Thai government’s September 28 Bangkok update said rain had eased, but drainage work continued and some communities would take longer to clear. Improving rainfall does not mean every route is accessible.

Lena Lalina joins relief efforts

A September 29 report describes Lena’s food deliveries to Bangkok’s Khlong Chan housing community. Read our Lena Lalina flood-relief story for the reported details and source.

Ways to support relief

The Bangkok administration has requested ready-to-eat meals, drinking water, and relief supplies. People able to help can contact 1555 or 02 248 5115 to coordinate with the city, according to its September 28 update.

For another established way to give, visit the Thai Red Cross Society’s official donation information. Its disaster relief work supports people affected by floods and other emergencies. The donation page is general information, rather than a campaign dedicated to this particular flood.

For fans attending GL events

At publication, AsianGL has not verified a specific GL event postponement linked to this flooding. Before travelling, check your event organizer, venue, and ticket provider’s latest official announcements for changes to dates, access, entry, or refunds.

A listing on our GL events page is not a live confirmation that an event or travel route is unaffected.

Thank you to everyone helping their neighbours, supporting relief teams, and sharing reliable information.
