A romance shaped by duty
Pin and Anin have known each other since childhood. As their relationship becomes romantic, they face a problem that affection alone cannot solve: the futures expected of them do not leave room for the life they want together.
The period setting makes that conflict central. Family, status, and marriage expectations are not merely background details; they shape what the women can say and choose. This guide leaves the later turns and ending unspoiled.

Why add it to your watchlist?
Choose this one when you are in the mood for a women-centered historical romance rather than a contemporary school or workplace story. A longstanding connection gives the relationship its starting point; the tension comes from making space for that love within a world of obligations.
The official trailer offers a first look at the period styling and the central pairing. It is a useful way to decide whether this is the mood you want for your next series.
AsianGL Verdict
Our watchlist recommendation: start here for FreenBecky in a period setting. The appeal is a romance with more at stake than a confession. Choosing each other also means confronting the lives that have already been planned for them.
For viewers drawn to stories about love and obligation, that is a compelling question: what does loyalty mean when being true to someone else seems to require being untrue to yourself?
Pair this guide with the official trailer, then begin with Episode 1 below. Let Pin and Anin introduce themselves without a recap giving away the moments ahead.
