Namtan Tipnaree Weerawatnodom is Thailand’s national winner for Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the 2026 Asian Academy Creative Awards. GMMTV announced the result on September 30, confirming that the recognition is for her performance in Enigma Black Stage.
The official AACA national-winners list independently names Namtan, Enigma Black Stage, GMMTV and Parbdee Tawesuk in the category. This is a country-level win: Namtan now represents Thailand in the Asia-Pacific competition, whose Grand Awards Gala is scheduled for December 3, 2026 at Capitol Theatre in Singapore. It should not yet be described as the overall regional award.
Why it matters for AsianGL readers
The winning role is outside GL, but the result adds major regional acting recognition to one of Thai GL’s most visible performers. Namtan leads Pluto and is part of the upcoming ensemble in Girl Rules, making the national award especially relevant to readers following NamtanFilm.
